Frequently asked questions
A few useful answers about life with Kept.
Using Kept
I cannot sign in.
Use Sign in with Apple associated with your existing Kept account and check your connection. Avoid creating a second account just to recover access. Contact support if the problem continues. Recovery steps and any enabled alternative sign-in method still need confirmation.
How do community invitations work?
Open the invitation link you were sent. Private community details should stay hidden before joining. If the link is invalid or expired, ask the sender for a new link. The app-connected sign-in, account creation and joining flow is awaiting verification. Joining must not show a paywall.
How do I delete my account?
See account deletion help. Deletion must begin inside the app. The exact steps, records affected and processing time still need confirmation.
How do I report or block someone?
Use the app’s report or block control when available. If you cannot access it, email support with a minimal description of the issue. See the Community Guidelines. Exact controls and block behaviour need verification.
What is Support Kept?
Purchases use Apple StoreKit/App Store and RevenueCat. Support Kept products are configured, but their live availability and entitlement effects are not confirmed. Community creation has an entitlement check; see the Terms for the current distinctions.
Who can see my private data?
Journal, Plan, Prayer, SOS and habit information appear device-local in the described build. Account and community/Buddy information is stored on the backend in MongoDB. Actual live configuration remains unconfirmed. Read the draft Privacy Policy for the marked questions. Never email private journal, prayer or habit-plan details.
Does a Buddy invitation automatically connect us?
The intended flow requires acceptance. The actual information shared and steps for declining or ending the connection still need verification.
